CAMPAIGN ACTIVITIES/VOLUNTEER HOURS

Each quarter we ask all members to submit their volunteer hours.  Last year our club members volunteered 3528 hours.  The number of hours we volunteer on behalf of the club demonstrate our strength and value to Republican  candidates.  The more hours we generate, the more power we have.  We need your hours!

What hours count?  Work at home, mailings phoning, making posters or other clerical tasks.  Work at or for a special event also count.  Attendance (as well as committee work in preparation) at Board Meetings, TFRW meetings and conventions, Legislative Day, State and National Republican conventions;  travel time between events; volunteering for a political candidate or for a non-partisan office such as school board; participating in fundraising to earn money for political activities of the club or for candidates; presenting political programs or speeches at local clubs; time spent campaigning for office; campaign sign preparation, distribution and removal; voter Registrar and  Get out the Vote participation.

There are so many ways to volunteer, there’s something to fit each individual’s talents and schedule.  So jump in!  All talents and abilities are needed.

Caring For America

This quarter, we have collected coupons for a wonderful organization called Troopons.  The Support Our Troops® Troopons® program enhances the well-being of overseas and domestic military families by sending them food, non-food, baby and pet manufacturer coupons to make their hard-earned dollars go farther.

We will continue to collect coupons for Troops at our next WPRW meeting to complete our service project this quarter.  Please cut them out and bring them with you!

Remember, they allow only manufacturer coupons, not store coupons such as those you receive from Kroger, HEB, Target, etc.

This is such a wonderful way to do our small part to give back to those soldiers and their families who give so much for us!

Happy clipping!
